Our 18D Polypropylene Staple Fiber is a heavy-denier industrial-grade PP fiber engineered for demanding technical textile applications. Manufactured from high-quality isotactic polypropylene resin through advanced one-step spinning process, it delivers an outstanding balance of high strength, low density, chemical inertness and moisture resistance.

At 18 denier, this coarse fiber features excellent rigidity and supporting performance, with tensile strength comparable to high-grade polyester while maintaining full strength even when wet—a critical advantage over polyamide fibers. It is inherently resistant to acids, alkalis and most chemical solvents, does not absorb water, and dries rapidly.
