Our 6D*90MM High Tenacity Anti-UV Polypropylene (PP) Staple Fiber is outdoor engineering-grade reinforced fiber specially developed for long-term exposed and buried geosynthetic applications. Using 100% virgin polypropylene pellets, matched with internal addition UV anti-aging system and high-strength spinning technology. It integrates high tensile performance, permanent UV protection, chemical corrosion resistance and lightweight advantages, becoming the preferred raw material for medium & heavy needle-punched geotextile in civil engineering, water conservancy and environmental protection projects worldwide.
Common ordinary polypropylene fiber lacks UV stabilizer. Once exposed to outdoor sunlight, molecular chains break quickly, leading to fiber brittleness, sharp strength drop and short service cycle. Our anti-UV PP staple fiber mixes high-efficiency light stabilizer evenly in melt spinning phase. The additive distributes inside each fiber, continuously blocking UV damage. Whether open-air paving or shallow buried with partial light exposure, it effectively delays aging, greatly extending the service life of finished geotextiles.
In mechanical performance, the fiber reaches breaking tenacity ≥5.2 cN/dtex, with balanced elongation. When geotextile bears foundation settlement, soil extrusion and construction machinery stretching, it has excellent anti-tearing and anti-cracking ability, providing reliable reinforcement, separation, filtration and drainage functions for engineering structures.
Different from conventional short-cut PP fiber, the 90mm longer cut length improves fiber interlocking degree after needle punching. The finished nonwoven fabric has higher overall strength and better dimensional stability. 6D medium denier achieves ideal balance of stiffness and flexibility. The fiber runs smoothly on large needle punching equipment, web surface uniform, few defects, suitable for mass continuous production of engineering geotextile.
