The 2.5D*51MM F800 high flame retardant regular polyester staple fiber addresses core pain points in the flame retardant textile industry. Traditional surface-coated flame retardant fibers generally have stiff hand feel, uneven FR performance and poor washing resistance. The flame retardant coating peels off easily after laundering or friction, leading to sharp decline in fire resistance, and often releases heavy smoke and toxic gases during combustion, bringing great safety risks.
This product solves these problems fundamentally with intrinsic copolymerization flame retardant technology. Flame retardant functional groups are directly copolymerized into the polyester molecular chain during polymerization, becoming an integral part of the fiber structure. This gives the fiber stable F800 grade flame retardant performance: it extinguishes immediately once leaving the fire source, effectively inhibiting flame spread. The FR performance is permanent and will not be lost due to washing, friction or high temperature processing, providing long-lasting safety guarantee for end products.
Compared with coated FR fibers, it also has obvious advantages in hand feel and processability. The 2.5D fine denier design delivers soft, delicate and smooth texture, eliminating the rough, stiff feel of traditional coated FR products, and can be used to produce comfortable close-fitting flame retardant fabrics. The 51mm standard medium staple length matches mainstream spinning equipment, with excellent spinnability and low yarn breakage rate. It supports pure spinning to produce high-grade flame retardant fabrics, or blending with cotton, viscose, wool and other fibers to balance performance, comfort and cost.
