Product Description

The 1.5D×38MM ES brightening water repellent bicomponent fiber solves long-standing pain points in the nonwoven industry. Ordinary ES fibers only provide basic thermal bonding function with dull, grayish white appearance. To achieve high whiteness and water repellency, manufacturers usually need additional dipping or coating post-treatment, which not only adds process steps and cost, but also causes problems like brightener migration, water repellent layer peeling and stiffened hand feel, compromising finished product quality and safety.

This product solves these issues at the raw material stage. It adopts the classic PE/PET skin-core composite structure: the low-melting PE sheath enables precise thermal bonding, and the high-strength PET core provides long-lasting structural support, resulting in uniform bonding and excellent dimensional stability of finished nonwovens. Optical brightening components and durable water-repellent formula are natively added during polymerization and spinning, evenly distributed throughout the fiber matrix. The whiteness is bright and uniform with minimal batch difference, and the water repellency resists washing and friction without peeling or degradation. It eliminates extra post-finishing processes, significantly reducing production cost and improving product consistency.

The 1.5D fine denier design delivers soft, delicate touch and uniform web forming. Finished nonwoven fabrics have a smooth surface free of hard spots, suitable for close-fitting applications. The 38mm standard cut length is compatible with all mainstream nonwoven processes including carding, air-laid, thermal calendering and hot air bonding. It can be used 100% pure to produce high-end functional nonwovens, or blended with regular polyester, viscose and other fibers in different proportions to flexibly adjust product performance and cost.
