High Performance PI Staple Fiber 2D*51MM, Chemical Resistant Radiation Proof Electrical Insulation Textile Raw Material
Our 2D*51MM polyimide staple fiber is a premium industrial special fiber manufactured through advanced dry spinning and high-temperature thermal imidization processes. As one of the organic polymer fibers with the best comprehensive performance available, it integrates ultra-high temperature resistance, inherent flame retardancy, high strength, chemical corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, and excellent electrical insulation properties.
Unlike ordinary post-finished flame retardant fibers and medium-temperature resistant fibers, the exceptional performance of polyimide fiber stems from its unique aromatic imide ring molecular structure, which is an inherent material attribute. With a limiting oxygen index of 38% or higher, it will not melt, drip, or burn when exposed to fire, instead forming a dense carbonized layer that blocks heat and flames, with ultra-low smoke and non-toxic combustion characteristics.
