This electrostatic fiber solves this challenge through material modification. When fibers rub against each other during processing, or when air flows through the filter media, the triboelectric effect generates stable static charges on the fiber surface. These charges actively attract fine particles that would otherwise pass through the fiber gaps, achieving ultra-high filtration efficiency at the same basis weight.
